Hilltop ADU

Set on top of a hill, overlooking Carmel Valley, this accessory dwelling unit was designed for a contractor and his family. The 800 square foot ADU features a large great with 20 foot wide sliding glass doors that open onto a balcony and offer uninterrupted views of the valley below. Along the back of the ADU are two bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

The contractor needed additional work space so a lower level was added which features a woodworking and steel fabrication shop.
